About Us
Maternity Engagement Action CIC is an organization dedicated to supporting and empowering Black women and Black mixed heritage women of African descent in Birmingham and beyond. We provide comprehensive support throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postnatal journey, ensuring they have the resources, information, and community to thrive.
We are motivated by the understanding that Black women often face unique challenges and disparities in maternity care. Our goal is to address these inequalities and ensure that every Black woman receives the care, support, and empowerment she deserves.
